The DaimlerCrysler Group has its fingers in several spheres of business; apart from cars it produces munitions such as landmines and carrier systems for nuclear missiles, among other things. From the historical point of view, the group has yet to come to terms with a number of issues like the entanglement with the Nazi-regime in Germany as well as the Argentinean military dictatorship of 1976-1983.
